Regional planning sessions to discuss the steps to take this spring in preparation for next year. These sessions are not an introduction to AVID. They are intended to train campus personnel in the steps necessary to begin AVID next academic year.

- Providing faculty awareness
- Selecting a District Director
- Selecting a Site Team
- Selecting an AVID Elective teacher/coordinator
- AVID in the master schedule
- Recruiting students
- Selecting students
- Scheduling students
- Conducting parent awareness meeting(s)
- Registering for Summer Institute
Who should attend?
Each campus should consider sending 2 to 3 people – principal, AVID teacher, and perhaps counselor.
How much does it cost?
These sessions are free of charge.
